Highlights

  • Rare Maymari Chicken-work hand-enamellingOver 35 years old — vintage artisanal creationHand-engraved brass baseMuseum-scale 24-inch diameterOne-of-One collectiblePreserved in excellent condition

Maymari Mandal is a monumental hand-crafted brass wall plate created using the rare Maymari Chicken work technique — a form of miniature enamel painting executed over finely engraved metal. Every floral motif and flowing vine across its expansive surface has been filled by hand with traditional enamel pigments, a process that requires extraordinary patience and mastery.
Crafted over 35 years ago by master artisans, this mandal reflects a time when such labor-intensive techniques were practiced with devotional focus rather than commercial speed. The symmetrical composition radiates outward from its central rosette, forming a hypnotic field of color, gold, and line — transforming the plate into a living mandala of craftsmanship.
Preserved in remarkable condition, this piece is not a reproduction or a revival. It is an authentic heirloom-grade artwork, now presented as a singular collectible within Kuteerr’s Kriti Sangrah.
